Crystal Hostel is a new phenomenon in the hospitality industry in Ghana and in Africa. We represent the proverbial Ghanaian hospitality in its real form.
We stay and live with you as a member of our family and give you the opportunity to experience the proverbial Ghanaian hospitality.
Our objective is to provide visitors to Accra a safe, secured and comfortable home at affordable rates.

There are comfortable garden chairs on the lawns and on the rooftop for your relaxation in the cool tropical breeze.
Group Bookings:
Our double rooms are very large and we have the capacity to convert them into dormitories to accommodate up to six people comfortably. Group numbers in multiples of five and staying for 5 days or more days get 5% discount on dormitory rates.
This means that if you are travelling in groups of 5, 10, 15, 20 etc you will pay only $9.00 per person instead of our normal rate of $10.00.
Further discounts exist for guests staying for 10 days and above.
Long Stay:
Guests staying for more than 25 days will enjoy 5% DISCOUNT on accommodation and free internet service. The total number of days you stay must be 25 days or more to enjoy this concession.
Voluntary Work Placements:
We arrange short and long term placements for anybody of any age who would like to volunteer in Ghana. We can arrange placement into any field of choice, e.g. to work with children in orphanages and day care centres, teaching in first and second cycle schools,
Tour Guides:
We have professional tour guides who know the Ghanaian terrain so well and make your tour most educative and comfortable.
Broadband internet service is available.
There is wireless connectivity to your laptop anywhere in the house.
Rooms
All our rooms are ensuite and comfortable. Every room has:

Wardrobe
Some of our rooms are air-conditioned. Rooms with air condition attract extra charge of $5.50 per day.
There are fully equipped kitchens in the house for guests who would like to prepare their own meals. Cooking utensils and gas are supplied free.
Meals
The mistress of the house provides meals of choice for guest and she takes care of VEGETARIANS as well.
Camping Tents
Guest can pitch their own tents on the lawns and on the rooftop
Rate: $5.00 per person per day.
Storage facilities:
We provide storage for guests� excess baggage to enable them travel light on their tour of Ghana. This facility is FREE for guests who stay with us for at least five days.
Transport:
The house is only 20 metres from the main transport station. There are buses, taxis and 'trotro' to any part of the city.
Night market:
There is an active night market on the main road where you can get practically anything you want at anytime of the day and night. There are wayside food vendors, restaurants, groceries, even boutiques in the night market.
Custom made clothes:
There are seamstresses and tailors near the house who can sew any Ghanaian / African designs for guests at short notice.
Airport Pickup:
We shall pick you up from the airport if we know of your flight arrangements, particularly the name of the airline you will be flying into Accra. The fare is $20.00 per trip by one car.
Conclusion:
Obviously, you can never get all these facilities under one roof at the same time anywhere, not even in the star-rated hotels.
We give you every opportunity to have a feel of a real Ghanaian life situation including the social and cultural life of Ghanaian.

Att ta sig till Crystal Hostel VandrarhemFrom the Accra Kotoka International Airport, the easiest way to get to the house is by taxi cab.
The taxis have a station at the airport. There are, however, no city train or bus services from the airport to town.
Darkuman is a 'borough' on the western part of Accra. It is about 10km to the west of the Accra Kotoka International Airport.
To get to Darkuman:
From the Airport, take a taxi or one of the airport cabbies. Tell the driver you are going to DARKUMAN KINGS PETROL FILLING STATION on the Darkuman Main Road,
At the KING PETROL Filling Station, facing the north, AKORLU CLOSE is 2nd turn on your left. When you are on the Akorlu Close, follow the sign or ask anybody. We are about about 30 metres from the Darkuman Main Road.
You may call us from the KINGS PETROL Filling Station. We are less than 50metres away.
If the guest advises us of his/her flight details ahead of his/her arrival, we shall arrange to pick him/her up at the airport.
