The Riad Sidi Magdoul is situated in heart of the Medina of Essaouira, near the beach and souks. It is a bright and comfortable Riad, which offers calm and quietness only a few metres from the busy pedestrian streets of Essaouira The Blue.
The Riad is made of ten rooms placed on three floors around a large 'puits de jour', an open space in the centre of the Riad from which the light pours in.
A bright and sunny terrace offers a view on the roofs of the Medina.
Wireless internet connection (WIFI) is freely available.
Historic
The Riad Sidi Magdoul is one of the oldest foundouk of the city, when Essaouira was still called Mogador. It takes its name from the local Saint (Sidi) Magdoul, first name of the ancient site.
Location
The Riad Sidi Magdoul is located just a few steps from the picturesque port (parking with municipal attendant) and the vast beach, in the heart of the artistic and artisan neighbourhoods of the Medina, souks, restaurants, galleries, cafes.

Att ta sig till Riad Sidi Magdoul Hotellocated in the heart of the medina, in a quiet street in a safe area, the Riad offers proximity to all Essaouira, souks, harbour, beach ...
The whole of the Medina is pedestrian. The closest door (into the Medina, the old city) to the Riad is Bab Sbaâ (door with 3 arcades), not far from the beach. You can ask a little taxi to drop you there if you arrive from the bus station or leave your car in the car park. If you come with the Supratour bus, you can walk in the garden along the walls of the Medina to Bab Sbaâ (around 300 metres).
From there, you just have to enter the Medina and turn right at the first crossing. You are then on the main street (avenue de l?Istiqlal).
A second door with 3 arcades to pass, a bit more of the colourful crowd and you turn on the second street on your left (just before the pharmacy). It is the rue Abdesmih. The Riad Sidi Magdoul is then a few steps on your right.
If you look closely, you might even see the signposts for the Riad hidden among all the other signposts on the main street!
