Dar Mellah is a spacious one bedroomed apartment located in the heart of Essaouiraâ??s Medina, and is a perfect base to explore the local fish and vegetable markets and spice souks. Situated on the first floor, the apartment was fully refurbished in January 2012 and consists of one double bedroom with four poster bed, a well equipped kitchen with gas hob, large shower room with traditional tadelakt shower, Moroccan salon and its own private roof terrace with sun loungers, table, chairs and wonderful view of the medina and surrounding mountains.
Our house manager, Sandra will meet you on arrival and escort you to the apartment giving you a brief tour of the medina, highlighting restaurants, bars and places of interest. She will also give you a pre-paid moroccan Mobile phone with her number in and a host of contact numbers to support you during your stay at Dar Mellah.
Check in and out times are negotiable.

Att ta sig till Dar Mellah LägenhetMost guests will arrive into Essaouira by the Supratours coach service (times are available by request). Either walk or take a petit-taxi to Bab Doukkala, the North Eastern entrance into the medina.
Go through the gate and continue down the main street until you come to the Pharmacy Principal on the right. Turn down that street, Rue Boutouil, and continue straight for about 75 yards. You will come to a blue door with a rusty No.3 on it. Go up the flight of black and white tiled steps and the apartment is on your right, with a Fatima's hand knocker and a pale blue painted door. |
