Riad Medina Azahara is a nice and relaxing Hostel Riad placed in the medina of Marrakech a few minutes walking only from the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and the souks (markets).

The Riad is composed of 5 double-triple-quadruple rooms (Bouchra, Zara, Ghadia, Fatima and Amal) each one equipped of an en-suite bathroom, (PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT HAVE ROOMS WITH A/C ) a central Patio decorated with Moorish furniture and a plunge pool in the center, a nice living room and an open air living room corner cool in summer time and very cosy during winter season as well as 2 dorms (10 beds and 6 beds dorms) composed of single beds with 2 common showers and 2 restrooms. There is also a Hammam and a massage area as well as a very nice terrace well equipped for sunbathing.

?Breakfast includes: bread, moroccan crepes, jam, butter, cheese and mint tea.
?Coffee, yoghurt, omlette etc are extra, please let us know if you would like any extras.
?The kitchen is for staff only, please let us know if you have any special requests and we will do our best to assist.
Towels:
?Private rooms: towels are available and we ask for a 50dh deposit per towel.
?Dorms: towels cost 15dhs per towel per day.
?We ask that you are careful if you have henna paintings or similar as the henna can damage the towels and we cannot refund deposits for damaged towels.

We require payment of the outstanding balance in cash on arrival. The rate we apply for payment in local currency is as follow:

1 euro = 12 dhs
1 USD = 9 dhs
1 GBP = 14 dhs

Changes and Cancellations made on arrival will be charged for the full amount as stated on your booking.

E-mail us if you need airport pick up :15 euros one way max 2 people; 20 euro one way for 3 people max or 25 euro per person if 4 and 5 euro per person from 5 people on,
please let us know your approximate arrival time after you receive your confirmation e-mail.

2 days/1 night Tour to Zagora 650dhs per person
?Includes: return transport, 1 night accommodation in a berber tent in the desert, 1 dinner, 1 breakfast, camel ride to the berber tent and return camel ride the next morning after breakfast to the minibus.

3 days/2nights Tour to Merzouga950dhs per person
?Includes: return transport, 2 nights accommodation with 1 night in a hotel at the Dades Gorge and 1 night in a berber tent in the desert, 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, camel ride to the berber tent and return camel ride the next morning after breakfast to the minibus.

Please allow 48 hours cancellation - prior to your arrival. Cancellations made less than 2 days before arrival will be charged for the first night.

Att ta sig till Riad So Cheap So Chic Vandrarhem

Nearest bus station is only 10 minutes away or 5 minutes by taxi as well as to the train station.

If you are arriving from the bus stop at Place de Foucauld, cross these gardens and enter Djemaa El Fna Square, keeping the Maroc post office on your right, keep walking through the square and don't take any side streets. Keeping the terraced cafes on your right and the orange juice stands on your left, keep walking straight between these, pass the Chez Chegrouni Restaurant on your right. Keep on going straight and the road narrows and has an undercover walkway, which is the start of Derb Debachi. When the undercover finishes, turn left at the second street on your left, Derb Moulay Abdelkader, it is not signposted . This street has an undercover of vines, follow this briefly and take the first right, follow this for about 50m and take the first on your left. The hostel is about 20metres on the right hand side of this street, number 38 clearly marked on the front door.

The nearby small shops all know the place and are helpful if you ask along the way for directions. You may be approached by childen who will offer to show you the way and will ask for money for their help. If you do choose to accept their help, it is reasonable to offer up to 20 dirhams although thye may ask you for up to 100 for their help,
