Welcome to La Colombe Bed and Breakfast /Guesthouse, a little peace haven! As hard as it may sound, you can visit Mauritius on a shoestring budget and still experience the legendary mauritian hospitality!!! If you are the type of person who is coming to Mauritius to surf, swim, get a tan, hit the nightclubs and are just looking for a clean place to crash and have breakfast, then you should look us up. If you are the person who is travelling on a tight budget, who wants to spend his/her money on other activities rather on an expensive hotel room then again we are the one. Now, it does not mean we are offering you thread bare facilities. We have available 3 budget, 2 deluxe rooms, 1 studio. The budget rooms have their own comfy double sized beds, wardrobe, desk and attached bathroom and toilet. The deluxe rooms have the queen size beds, ensuite bathrooms and toilets, wardrobe, desk, balcony. And we have a studio, which is self contained with all expected amenities. All rooms come with air conditioning, own tv, clean bed linen at no extra charges every day, maid service, spacious dining room. You have laundry facilities, 24 hrs security and we are more than happy to help you around, book travel tours for you, or even arrange for a rental car. Note that if you want airport pickup, it can be arranged for 35Euros. This is pretty much what local cabs would charge as the airport is quite far away from everything else! Att ta sig till La Colombe GuesthouseWe are in the heart of Trou Aux biches. The beach is only ten minutes walk await. the 'Aquarium' , our marine zoo, is also about 15 minutes walk away. The bus stop is only 2 minutes away from the guesthouse. From there, you can choose to ride to the capital city of Port Louis, or north to the busy Grand Bay, the activity centre.
