Welcome to the Green House! We are a family run business and aim to provide our guests with a clean, safe, welcoming and affordable place to stay in Dhaka.
All our 24 rooms are furnished with comfortable western made beds, good quality furnishings and have en suite bathrooms which are spotless and have bathtubs as well as showers. All guestrooms are light and airy, have A/C, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, feature cool marble floors and coffee and tea making facilities. Some of our rooms also have large balconies which would suit the smokers amongst you.
Our back-up generator ensures we can provide our guests with 24 hour uninterrupted electricity and internet access. For those who have been in Bangladesh before, I am sure you will agree it is a real comfort and one usually only provided in overpriced 5 star hotels.
We are located in the Baridhara diplomatic zone which is regarded as the safest area in Dhaka as it has securely manned gateways into the area, most of which close at night. This makes it not only a safe area but a quiet one as well.
Our independent building has its own ground level parking area and caters for guests from all over the world and from all walks of life; from high ranking officials and business people to backpackers. Whoever our guest, all appreciate the writing desks and Wi-Fi internet available to them in their rooms. They tell us they also enjoy the friendly, homely atmosphere.
Some say Dhaka is a confusing, noisy, dirty, overcrowded and polluted city. Green House truly provides that peaceful haven necessary to unwind after a hectic day.

Att ta sig till Greenhouse@Baridhara GuesthouseFrom Airport, Take the main road south from the Airport, then after 1 mile turn left into Pragati Sharani, after 1 mile turn right following the sign for United Hospital, after 500 yards a sharp left turn through the gates takes you into Road 13
From Train Station, from Cantonment train station, head south towards United hospital, at the first junction turn left, after 300 yards turn right through the gates into Road 13.
From Bus Station, from Gulshan 2 bus station, head back to Gulshan circle, turn right and pass the Canadian and USA missions, then turn left into Park Road, follow park road until the turn for Road 13. |
