Vandrarhem Trafalgar Cottages, Boracay Island, Filippinerna
One of the most popular hostels in Boracay registered with Hostelworld,Trafalgar Cottages are the budget traveller's ideal. Simple, spotlessly clean and very affordable; it is conveniently located in the centre of the island, about 3 minutes walk from the White Beach next to the E-Mall. It is a small, friendly, family run hostel with a range of room sizes (from single up to 5 pax), with trustworthy, helpful owners.The lush tropical vegetation provides a shady atmosphere.
All standard cottages are fan cooled and include a private balcony with hammock, private bathroom with flush toilet, cold shower and washbasin. Deluxe Cottages are air conditioned, but there is no TV or hot shower. No stand-by generator.
There are also some basic budget rooms designed for backpackers with shared bathroom and balcony. All rooms are kept immaculately clean.
Cooking facilities are available on request, with additional payment and a central, common dining area provides a space for guests to get together and compare experiences.
Cold drinks and miscellaneous sundries are on sale.
Meeting you on arrival at Cagban Port is included in the room rate provided you pay your own terminal fee and boat/tricycle fares and send your expected time of arrival in advance.
Normally, check-in time is after 12 noon and check-out is up to 12 noon; if you plan to arrive early or leave late please contact the hostel beforehand.
Balance payments should be paid in cash (pesos, US$, Euros) on arrival. We are unable to accept any payment by credit/debit card

Att ta sig till Trafalgar Cottages VandrarhemFrom Manila you can take a flight either to Kalibo or Caticlan. From Iloilo there are buses to Caticlan. At Caticlan, tourists need to pay P100 terminal fee and P75 environmental fee.Then, take a boat to Cagban entry port in Boracay. The boat costs P25-P50 and takes about 15 minutes.
Ask the tricycle driver from Cagban to drop you at E-MALL or ABRAMS SPA near Trafalgar in Old Talipapa. Tricycle fare is P100/trip (max4-5 pax)
Probably best to email your approximate time of arrival, so that you can be met at Cagban;this does not involve any extra cost. |
