Our rooms are en suite with a western loo, hot and cold shower, free Wi-Fi and, of course, back-up power supply when power's off in the city.

Our place has a colourful, sweet atmosphere and a happy hidden location amongst the old twisty alleyways of Varanasi, located 5 minutes' walk from the main ghat (called Dashashwamedh Ghat) where the daily evening ceremony's held. We're also just a three-minute walk from the famous Golden Temple.
We also offer pickup from the airport, railway station and bus stand at reasonable rates. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask us!

YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL THE NUMBERS OF NIGHTS , WHICH YOU HAVE ORIGINALLY BOOKED.
You must bring your passport or a photocopy of your passport to check-in.
We will only keep your room for an hour after your expected arrival time. If you don?t appear within your arrival time, we don?t guarantee to give you the room. If your train or flight is late, in that case, please phone us.
If you don't show up on the day you booked us, you will be asked to pay for the 90% of the first night through paypal as we respect your credit card privacy.
For station or airport pickup, please organize it with the hostel at least 48 hours before your arrival, otherwise we cannot guarantee the arrangement of the pickup for you. You must also quote all the details of your ticket as mentioned with the directions.
Please e-mail us or phone us two days before your reservation in order to confirm everything. From our past experience, it is advisable that you book your train or flight ticket first, then book your room.

We're in a quiet laneway between two main shopping streets, beside the Kashi Vishwanath Temple 'Golden Temple.' The one street leads directly to the centre of Varanasi, the other goes past Manikarnika, the holy burning ghat for Hindus. Both five minutes walk. Yes, this really is the centre of old Varanasi!
If you would like us to meet you at the train station, there's no charge, just transport cost.
From Varanasi Junction train station by tuk-tuk(3 wheeler) Rs 200.
From Mugalsarai Railway Station by Car Rs 800 (by tuk-tuk '3 wheeler' Rs 500).
From Babatpur Airport by Car Rs800 (by tuk-tuk '3 wheeler' Rs 500).

It is important that you send us your train number, train name, coach and berth number, name of the city where your train departed from, and your arrival time at either Varanasi JN or Mughalsarai JN if you'd like us to pick you up from there.
For airport pickup, please send us your flight name, company name, flight number and arrival time at Babatpur Airport if you'd like us to pick you up from there.
If you do not have your exact train details and you're thinking to find us on you own, you can easily call us from the railway station @ Rs 2/minute from any local STD-ISD-PCO sign(telephone booth) shops. You don't even need a cell or mobile phone for this. Just bring a copy of our phone number with you.
We usually recommend our guest to wait at the famous Tourist Information Centre and the Inquiry Office at the main Entrance Hall near Platform or Track No. 1 at Varanasi Junction Station (not Mughalsarai Station) - call us from the PCO (phone booth) next to it. Ask the guy at the shop to help you if you're having problems dialing the number.
Guests who arrives at Mughalsarai Jn can also phone us when they arrive and we'll explain how you can find us .
But we always recommend just organising a pick-up because this city's a maze and we don't want you to get lost. Plus there's locals who will confuse you by trying to take you to other hostels for commission. Taxi drivers will sometimes try to tell you that we're full, unavailable, closed, etc, and that you should stay in their hotel instead; it's all a scam.
