Brigitte's house is located in a quiet residential street in a peaceful part of Padang. The shopping districts, harbor and beach are all just a few minutes walk away. You will feel far removed from all the hustle and bustle of central Padang in this quiet neighborhood.
We have a variety of rooms available from economy to luxury. Some with air conditioning and others with fans. The two luxury rooms both have A/C and on suites able to sleep two or three people. There is also single rooms and a dormitory style room with a private balcony. All rooms include a free breakfast.
The main living room has a large atrium above and is cool and airy. You can relax out the front, in one of our three lounge rooms, or on the roof top balcony.

Att ta sig till Brigitte's House VandrarhemTo get to our place from the airport, the easiest way is to take a taxi from out the front of arrivals.From the Airport ask the taxi driver to take you to Jalan Kampung Sebelah 1 No.14D. The nearest crossroad is Jalan Nipah which leads onto the bridge across the harbour 'Jembatan Siti Nurbaya' . When heading toward the bridge from the city, our street is on the left hand side just before the on ramp to the bridge. We are 70 meters up on the left hand side.
There are also local buses( DAMRI), these will take you to the Damri station, from where you can get an Ojek( motor bike n driver) who will take you to the house and it cost you around 5000 - 10000 IDR
Or on the way to Damri station, you can ask to Bus Driver to take you to Jalan NIPAH or just stop at Taman Melati, then follow Jalan Hayam wuruk until you find beginning of Jalan Nipah where the Jembatan Siti Nurbaya is located.
The directions from Bukittinggi are the same except you airrive in the city at various different locations depending on what type of transport you take. The best option is a private transfer that costs only a few dollars because you share with a few people. |
