Our hostel is one of the best in Yogyakarta, with lots of communal and public spaces where it�s easy to meet other travellers and make new friends. It�s no wonder many of our guests stay longer than they intended. We assure you a relaxed and safe stay; we have free Internet, Wi-Fi and printing, free continental breakfast and free afternoon tea and cookies at your door.
Budget-minded travellers will find this quite a steal. We have free coffee and tea all day as well as free mineral water for your refills. If you stay three nights or more you can take advantage of our free airport pick-up, free laundry service and free use of Vista City Bicycles.
We offer seven tastefully-furnished rooms and a four-bed dormitory in a uniquely-designed Balinese-style house. We have one en suite room while the other seven private rooms share three bathrooms with 24hr hot showers. All rooms include a TV and fan. Our standard double room also has air-conditioning, while the deluxe double room has air-conditioning, DVD player and a computer with Internet. The dorm room has comfortable solid teak bunk beds with individual reading lights and power points.
We�re only five minutes by taxi from the city centre!
We have a movie room, bicycle rental and three Internet stations in our lobby, 24hrs a day. There is also a large communal swimming pool with a fitness room within 1000 metres of the hostel, with an entrance fee of only 15000, open from 6am to 6pm.
Your hosts are a Dutch couple who love to give personal attention and assistance to all the travellers they encounter.

Please note that children under 10 together with parents in the room are required to use a separate mattress, which we supply for an additional Rp. 100,000. There is only space to do this in our Deluxe Double Ensuite. Children older than 10 will be considered a 3rd person and will be charged as such, whether they stay in the room with the parents or book a separate room.

All rooms are equipped for the number of people related to the number of beds.
The arrival time you have indicated in your booking is the approx. time we expect you. If your arrival time changes considerably please notify us by email, sms or phone.
We consider a booking a no-show if you don't check in at least 6 hours after your indicated arrival time or with late arrivals at midnight, at which time we will make the room available for other guests.
In the rare event that guests arrive after midnight by taxi, they need to report to the security at the entrance of the residential Green Garden and proceed on foot to the hostel (50 meters), as cars are not allowed in the area after midnight. You can call us before or have the security call us so we can assist you with your luggage.
Extended international breakfast available for Rp. 35.000 pp
With minimum 3 day stay:
Free airport or train pick-up between 7 am and 7 pm, provided our car is available and you let us know your arrival details at your earliest convenience. If you don't use the pick up service it cannot be exchanged for drop-off transfer. Outside of these hours and when our car is on tour, we can assist you in free taxi arrangements to get to us. With a stay less then 3 days, we can also pick you up for a small fee.
Free laundry service, provided you give us your laundry on the day of arrival, as we need minimum 24 hours to get it done for you. If you stay a longer period you can submit your laundry every 3 days for free cleaning and ironing;
Free bicycle rental using our available Vista City Bikes: if there are more guests than bicycles we will organize a rotation schedule.
Att ta sig till MSA Green Garden Hostel VandrarhemFrom the airport by bus:
-By the city bus system Trans Jogja for 3000 Rp per ticket (Euro 0.20);
-Buses leave from the terminal;.
-Take either Trayek 3A or 3B;.
-Both buses will circle the ringroad and enter the central area of the city from the north;
-Get out of the bus at the next crossing after the famous monument Tugu (Needle of Jogjakarta), which is Jalan Magalang (magelang street);
-From here wave down a Bis Kota (minibus) direction Godean, get out at the Mirota Godean Supermarket;
-Walk 400 meters down the side street next to Mirota Godean Supermarket;
-Take the 2nd Perumahan (residential) left: Green Garden;
-than the 2nd street to the right and at the end is the Bali house with Green Garden B&B.
From the airport by car:
-Leave the terminal area, cross the railroad;
-Make a left at the main road;
-Continue to stay on this road for the next 12 kms, it brings you through the heart of the city;
-Markpoints along the road Amborukmo Shopping Plaza after approx 2 kms, Novotel after approx 6 kms, MacDonalds after approx 7 kms, the Tugu (needle of Yogyakarta after approx 9 kms, Mirota Godean Supermarkt after approx 12 kms.
-Make a right just before Mirota Godean Supermarket and after 400 meters take the 2nd Perumahan (residential) left: Green Garden;
-than the 2nd street to the right and at the end is the Bali house with Green Garden B&B.
From the airport by taxi:
-After arrival walk up to the taxi booth in the terminal building, here you state your destination, pay the relevant fare, you receive a ticket and taxi number
and by the time you walk to the curb the taxi is there;
-Tell the driver: Green Garden, close to Mirota Godean, Utarah (north side of the city center.
-International arrivals, after immigrations and customs, the taxi booth is inside the customs area - so don't leave the hall before buying the taxi ticket;
-Domestic arrivals, once you leave the baggage claim area go to the right, just next to the ATM is the taxi kiosk.
-The rates are fixed at Rp. 60,000.-- |
