Hostel MUNDO is a small Kyoto-style hostel located 15 minutes walk from the Imperial Palace and Nijo Castle.
We are also within a 5minit walk from 3 traditional
style bath house.
There are 5 rooms in total, with famale dormitory and private rooms. The tatami-mat lounge is a perfect place for backpackers to talk about where they've been and where they'll go next over tea or sake.
Our quiet location yes you can allows our guests to sleep very well every night .

Att ta sig till Hostel Mundo VandrarhemYou can walk from JR Nijo station.But It's tough if you have big luggage.
We recomend to take the bus, Because if you get the oneday bus pass, You can use it after coming our hostel, All of day. Costs 500yen.
How to get one day bus pass, Just ask to the driver.

Take about 24minuts.
Get off at Horikawa Shimodachiuri.
Get off the bus and look to your left. You will see a super market with red clothes called 'Fresco' at the corner.
Turn right at this corner (Make sure Shimodachiuri-dori st,There is a bulletin post board in front of Fresco). Walk about 5 minutes, you will see Tobacco shop on the left corner with a red coca cola vending machine) Turn right this corner, the 3rd house on the right with a little red light is our hostel. Usually there are a few bicycles parked outside of our hostel.

?By train (From Kyoto station)?
Take the train from platform No.32,33(Sagano line) to the NIjo station.
Exit from the East exit of Nijo station, keep left (go pass Mos burger and Softbank store) then TURN LEFT. Walk for about 15 minute and you will reach a major intersection Senbonmarutamachi. Cross the intersection and in about 5 minute, you will see a motorbike store on your left hand side with a big sign says ?HONDA? and a firearm store. Turn RIGHT (crossing the street). walk about 5 minutes, pass by the 1st traffic light (a play park on the right). After the traffic light, after 1 minutes you will see a Tobacco shop on the right corner that has red coca cola vending machine and a garage on the left). Turn left at this corner. The 3rd house on the right with a little red light is our hostel (especially if you arrive at night). Usually with a few bicycles parked at the front. |
