Vandrarhem Yellow Canary Lodge, Dali, Kina
Cute wood houses, green vege fields, warm sunshine and blue sky. Yellow Canary Lodge is a natural and happy place that welcomes travelers from all over the world. The hosts of the lodge are two nice and warm-hearted girls cici and kiki. They used to be volunteer teachers in Yunnan and love this beautiful place, so they stay and build this lodge for a peace of happiness.
Located next to old town Dali, backs on Cangshan Mountain with a very good view of Erhai Lake. 5 minutes by bike to South Gate (bike free for 3 hours/day at normal time) and bus stop is just in front us, Yellow Canary Lodge has a very convinient location to either old town or other famous sites.
There are two types of rooms:
Comfortable Tatami room with private bathroom and big french window
4-bed Dorm with linen,locker,reading lights. Shared bathroom with 24-hour hot water and an open washing space with sunshine.

1.From The Airport
(1)By Taxi
There?s no airport shuttle bus in dali airport and it?s inconvinient to take a bus. We suggest you come by taxi. It will take you about 40 minutes from the airport by taxi.The cost is about100 yuan.
(2)Airport Pick Up Service
We also have pick up service. Please inform us at least one day before you arrive.Airport pick up service costs 100 yuan within 4 persons.
2.From Railway Station/Central Bus Station(Kunming-Dali)
(1)By Taxi
It will take you aroud 30 minutes by taxi. The cost is about 50yuan within 4 persons.
(2)Railway Station Pick Up Service
Please inform us at least one day before you arrive. Railway Station Pick Up Service costs 50 yuan within 4 persons.
(3)By Bus
(a) Direct bus:
Take The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple shuttle bus and get off at ? Lvyulukou(????) (Point B in our hand-draw map)?.It?s better to tell the bus driver your destination ?Lvyulukou??????? when you get on the bus, so that he could inform you to get off when the bus arrive.Since most of time, the bus won?t announce bus stops!! The tickt fee is 1.5yuan.
Cross G214 highway aftre you get off the bus and walk on about 10m.On the west side you?ll see a wood house with our Logo ?Yellow Canary Lodge?.That?s us!

(b)Change bus
Take bus No.8 and get off at the last stop'West Gate'(???).
Cross G214(the big highway in front of you), there is another bus stop on the other side of the highway. Take bus No.4 (to South direction),get off at Lvyulukou(????).Please inform the bus driver about it. In dali, they never announce the stop.
After you get off the bus. Walk back along the road for 50 meters, you'll see our wood house and a wall painting of blue sky.That's us!! (We are on the west side of the road, the mountain side).
3.From Lijiang
Take the bus from Lijiang to Dali, get off at ?Caicun intersection(????)'
(bus from Lijiang to Dali pass the old town, please remember to tell the driver let you off in the old town!)
Take No.2 bus beside the road and get off at ?Xuefulukou'(????)
Walk on 500ms,on the west side(the mountain side),you'll see our lodge and a wall painting of blue sky.That's us! |
