Huar is the first youth hostel established in the centre of Lanzhou, an ancient city on the Silk Road. Given its special location, Lanzhou has convenient railway communications that connects you to the most famous places in western China like Dunhuang, Xinjiang and mysterious Tibet.

Situated in Lanzhou Creative Industry Park, Huar is a stylish LOFT hostel surrounded by artists and designers. We have regenerated the industrial buildings of the 70s with a theatrical style of coloring and created a perfect common area with high ceiling for sunbathing and day dreaming. A collection of 10,000 books and films concerning Arts, theatre and modern culture is being established. All you have to do is to get a cup of fresh coffee and enjoy your day in slow motion.
Huar has a double life. It?s not only a hostel but also a theatre. On stage we narrate stories inspired from real life. Down stage we are living in your own version of ?On the Road?. The two lives intercross, sharing the same dream that motivates us.
Huar Extends - Outdoor Tour from leisure to adventurous
If you are fond of nature or historical sites, you are cordially welcomed to join our outdoor tours led by experienced guides. It is no longer a dream to swim in the golden sea of blooming rape flowers and enjoy being absorbed by the tremendous snow mountains and the blue sky ahead. Following the footprints of our ancestor, we shall rediscover the lost civilization of Buddhist Kingdom hidden in the desert. These outdoor tours vary from 2 days to 7days, from leisure to adventurous so we believe that there must be a package that suits your needs.

a) By Bus: take bus no. 110; get off at ?Duan Jia Tan? station (????) and then walk 500m heading west. Creative Industry Park should be on your right-hand side
b) By Taxi: around 20 mins for RMB 10
2. From Lanzhou Airport:
a) By Bus: take Airport Express to ?Fei Tian Hotel? (????) , and then follow the steps mentioned in 1a.
b) By Taxi: around 80 mins for RMB 160
3. From East station:
a) By Bus: take bus no. 124 to ?Dong Hu Xiao Cu? (????) ?change to bus no. 22 and get off at ?Chuang yi wen hua chan ye yuan? (???????). Creative Industry Park is on the opposite side of the road.
b) By Taxi: around 15 mins for RMB 10
4. From South station:
a) By Bus: take bus no. 111 to ?Xi Guan shi zi? (????) ?change to bus no. 138 or no.143 and get off at ?Chuang yi wen hua chan ye yuan? (???????). Creative Industry Park is on the opposite side of the road.
b) By Taxi: around 40 mins for RMB 30 |
