We're located in a residential family neighbourhood at the foot of the limestone peaks, just 15 minutes' easy and safe walk from the city. Here you can breathe fresh air and listen to the birds singing when you wake up in the morning.
Our ensuite rooms include air conditioning so you can stay cool and comfortable in the summer and warm in the winter. There's also western-style toilets and free Wi-Fi in every room.
Rates include Chinese culture lessons and all meals, with a western breakfast (toast, jam, butter, peanut butter, fruit and tea), fried egg with rice/noodle for lunch and a home-cooked family-style Chinese banquet each evening. After check-out you can still get our free breakfast but then lunch is 10 Yuan and dinner is 30 Yuan.
Our friendly staff can offer advice on how to get around and what to see in the area. You can also learn different aspects of Chinese culture, such as Chinese cooking, Tai-Chi, Chinese language, brush painting, calligraphy and more. Ask at reception to arrange a lesson.
We have 10 years tourism experience with Yangs International Travel Service of Yangshuo and have also been involved with a cultural and art exchange for five years, teaching people from all over the world in Yangshuo.
We also offer a travel service. We can book taxis online from Guilin airport, Guilin South/North railway station and from Guilin city to Yangshuo. We can also book train tickets with no service charge as well as flights, bus tickets and boat tickets from Guilin to Yangshuo. There's also tours of Yangshuo culture, the Li River, local caves and tribes and bike tours.

Att ta sig till Yangshuo Culture House VandrarhemWe can pick you up from Guilin airport or Guilin railway station for a small fee. You can also ring us when you get to Yangshuo and we?ll pick you up there for free. The owner, Mr Wei, will meet you and can be identified by looking at his right hand, which has only four-and-a-half fingers. He'll tell you if he sends anyone else to meet you.
From Yangshuo bus station:
Walk to Yangshuo Centre (Sino) petrol station. It?s about 10 minutes down on the left-hand side on the way to downtown Guilin. Once you get to the petrol station, keep walking on the right side of the small street for about three or four minutes. You?ll see an English sign saying ?Yangshuo Culture House? on the first building. Turn to the right here and keep walking until you get to the last building on the right side. This is our house.
When you arrive in Yangshuo by bus or boat some people may try to take you to other guesthouses. They might say that they?re from our hostel, or that we?re full ? please be aware of this and don?t take their word for it. |
