Welcome to Shanghai Hotel! We are an old style family run budget hotel in a little town where food is heaven! You can experience old town living here!
All rooms come with an attached bathroom and local tv channels. The rooms listed have air-conditioning.
We are very conveniently located, in the heart of Ipoh city. There are convenient stores and a large area of hawker food stall very nearby. Don't hesitate to ask the owner, Mr Chan, where to find the best food in Ipoh, he will gladly guide you there.
Check-out time is 12 noon.
Check-in time is 1-3pm. Early check-in (8am-1pm) only possible if the reserved room is available.
Reservation will only be kept until 3pm or arrival time stated during your bookings. If any changes on arrival time, please contact us. Contact number is given in your booking confirmation email.
Payment upon arrival only in cash. No credit card nor debit card.
Sight-seeing around Ipoh with 7-seater car at RM30 per hour can be arranged (minimum 2 hours, need advanced booking).

Att ta sig till Shanghai Hotel HotellAfter you reach Ipoh bus terminal, you can take the bus towards the city centre, where you can alight at a bus stop near a building named KAMDAR. Ask for the directions to Hawker Centre near Sam Teck Primary School. You will see the Hotel on the left when you walk along the Jalan Mustapha Al-Bakri (Clare Street). It is around 15 min walk from the KAMDAR building.
If you are taking taxi, you can ask the driver to drop you directly to the Hotel where nearby the biggest hawker street in town.
