We are Singapore's best kept secret! A cozy boutique homestay with a small number of private designer rooms, indulge and pamper yourself while traveling on a shoestring! Every piece of furnishing was lovingly put together by us to ensure you a comfortable stay in a groovy environment.
All rooms are air-conditioned and have free access to internet broadband, comes with your own private television set, designer linen, fluffy pillows... the list goes on. We even provide daily room cleaning!
The shared designer bathrooms are always kept sparkling clean. Come and experience our powerful showers which falls like warm tropical rain on you, rejuvenating your tired muscles! We have a 100l water heater tank (we have seen 20l-30l ones in alot of other 100-bed hostels), so you never need to worry about running out of hot water!
Located right beside Kovan MRT station, you are merely minutes away by MRT from town and places of interest such as Chinatown, Little India, Orchard Road or even Sentosa!
Right at our doorstep are numerous famous local eateries, as well as supermarkets, resturants and a large variety of shops. Eat your heart out in the food paradise of Singapore right here!

Additional notes:
1) As we strive to keep One Florence Close restful for guests, we do not accept children under the age of 6 years old.
2) Our check-in time is 3pm, and check-out time is at 12pm. For early check-in or late check-out please email to enquire in advance, as it is subject to availability and a half-day charge. However, all guests are always welcomed to leave your luggage with us free of charge should you arrive early or have a late flight!
3) Please note that we have a very cute and friendly Siamese cat, and is not suitable for persons allergic to cats.
4) Should you have any special requirements due to your personal condition, please email to enquire in advance before making a reservation. We will try our best to ensure you a comfortable stay, or advise if we are unable to do so. Unlike large hotel chains, we do not have the facilities to cater to all special needs.
Cancellation policy:
Inform us as early as possible, if there are any changes in your arrival date or cancellation of your booking. Amendments to your check-in/check-out dates should reach us 3 whole days (from midnight Singapore time) to your check-in date, which excludes the day of cancellation and day of check-in. Amendments or cancellations made later than this stated notice period will be subject to a charge of 1 night's stay, without exceptions, for any reasons.
We require 100% full prepayment for bookings made for the Singapore Grand Prix season (21 - 26 Sep 2011 inclusive), long-term bookings, and bulk/ group bookings. Please note that no refunds will be made under any circumstances, for any amendments or room cancellations.

We collect a SGD50 fully refundable key deposit for each set of hostel keys. This can also be paid in an eqivalent amount in USD/ Euros if preferred.

Att ta sig till One Florence Close VandrarhemFrom Changi International Airport: -
1. By MRT: Take the MRT from Changi Airport CG2 and alight at Kovan NE13. Use Exit B. There are numerous area maps in the station and at the exit, look for the road 'Florence Close'. We are a short 2 mins walk away.
Travel time: 35 minutes. Costs: S$2.10 per person.
First train from CG2: 5:31am, Last train from CG2: 11:18pm
First train from NE13: 5:50am, Last train from NE13: 11:35pm
2. By Taxi: Just tell the driver that our address is No. 1 Florence Close, off Upper Serangoon Road. If you are coming from the airport, take the expressway TPE to old Tampines Road, and turn right into Upper Serangoon Road. You will immediately see Domino's Pizza, a Balinese spa, a fruit stall, followed by a big red coffeeshop named Ponggol Nasi Lemak. Turn left at once into Florence Cl, we are the first striped house on your left! Florence Close is the road right after Simon Road (but do not enter Simon Road). Get the driver to call us if unsure!
Travel time: 15 mins depending on traffic conditions. Costs: between S$15 - S$25 for max 4 persons (there are different surcharges at different hours of the day). Join the normal taxi queue instead of taking the special airport taxi which cost a fixed rate of S$45/trip.
3: By Bus: Board bus 53 from Changi Airport and alight at Hougang Avenue 1 Block 232 (27th bus stop). Walk for about 5 minutes or take a taxi ($3). You may wish to email us for a location map.
Travel time: 41 mins depending on traffic conditions.
