The secret is finally revealed! We have expanded to fit more of us and we are glad to announce that after a long search, we made it! What is different is definitely the space that is much needed and NO MORE STAIRS! Yes bring on your heaviest luggage and just slide into the same cozy atmosphere and step into a piece of heritage and soak into a historic atmosphere. Bookings are now open and be our pioneer guests at our new expansion.
We are located in the heart of the city within walking distance to Clarke Quay and Boat Quay - the most talked about night spot in Singapore. You can find lots of restaurants, shops, a mall, amenities and most importantly, the MRT (tube) is all within 5 mins from Rucksack.
When you enter Rucksack Inn, it will feel just like home. We're cosy, clean and comfortable and you may just not wanna leave!

All rates are inclusive of taxes
Check in time: 1400hrs
Check out time: 1200hrs
Our reception runs 24hourly, so if you have an early flight, you may check in early and use our facilities or you can leave your bags with us whilst you head out to explore the city.
Likewise, if you have a late flight or bus to catch on the day of your checkout, you may leave your bags with us at no additional cost.
*To upkeep the environment of a backpackers hostel, we do have a policy of no children under the age of 12 .
* Due to our limited capacity at our Inn, we do not take in Locals, Singapore Permanent Residents and Work Permit Holders.
Cancellation/No Show Policy
We would be grateful if you could inform us at least 48hours in advance should you decide to cancel or make any changes to your booking, otherwise the first 2 nights' charge is applicable.
We will keep the room/bed for you for 3 hours from the stated time of arrival. After which it will be released for booking. If there is a delay in your itinerary, we would appreciate if you could let us know through phone or email.

Att ta sig till Rucksack Inn @ Temple Street VandrarhemIf you're coming from Changi International Airport and intend to take the train, follow these 5 simple steps:
Step 1: Proceed to Changi Airport MRT and take the East West line heading towards Tanah Merah.
Step 2: Alight at Tanah Merah MRT. Proceed towards platform B (East West line) and board train going towards Joo Koon MRT.
Step 3: Alight at Outram MRT and board the Northeast line towards Punggol MRT.
Step 4: And finally alight at Chinatown MRT.
Step 5: At the station take EXIT A.
You will come up onto Pagoda Street.
Make a U-turn to your right as you get off the escalator. Walk straight and turn left when you see an alley leading to the next street.
Walk through this alley as the next street is Temple Street. Make a left turn on Temple Street and walk just a few doors to no. 52 Temple Street.
We are on your left on the ground floor.
Alternatively, you can hop in the cab and tell the cab driver 52 Temple Street and you should be at our doorstep within 20 minutes during the off peak hour! |
