Welcome all to Fern Loft Backpacker Hostel!!! Fern Loft is a well-maintained budget hostel, licensed by Singapore Tourism Board.
We are strategically located along East Coast Road. This area has evolved from an old traditional kampong (village) to a lively, exciting and colorful multi-national and cultural habitat for both the locals and expatriates.
Our eastern location offers several unique advantages; We are only ten minutes drive from the airport (great savings on airport transfer). For those who enjoy the sun and the sea, we are the only hostel near the beach (15 minutes stroll). You can choose to engage in sea sports, cycling, roller blade, cable sking or simply lazing the day away at the beach.
Singapore is known as a multicultural food paradise. At Fern Loft, you will find a belt of eateries nearby, offering the best of local cuisines such as Chinese, Indian, Malay, Peranakan (Specialty) and affordable exotic seafood. Variety is among the widest and prices are also among the lowest you can find on this island.
To town is never easier - we are just 8km to the bustling downtown (Chinatown,Little India and Merlion Park, Orchard Road etc). There is a well-connected public bus system that ferries you to town at incredible low price and without fuss. We are also just 10 min drive from the airport.
Fern Loft also enjoys close proximity to amenities such as shopping mall, supermarket, clinics, banks, post office, bus station, photo shops and 24hrs convenient store.
It is also worth mentioning our in-house facilities, which include, free use of pantry, free breakfast, free WIFI & unlimited internet access, bicycle rental and the best of all, we have an in-house Balinese pub, located just below the hostel. Övrig information om detta Vandrarhem1) Please note that your reservation will be held for 3 hours on your indicated arrival time. Should you be late, please give us a call or drop us a mail enquiry@fernloft.com to inform us or else we will consider it as no show. The hostel has the right to relocated / cancel the reservation with NO refund on their deposit .
2)For reservation with No arrival time given, we will assumed that you will arrive at 1400hrs. Policy still applies for late / cancellation
3) Check in time is 1400hrs and Check out time is 11 am, but you are welcome to leave your baggage at the hostel till you are ready to leave! Just help us clear the beds / rooms so that we can clean up for the next guest!
4) For check in like 1am - 8am , please book the previous date (Eg check in 2 January , 0100am , please book for 1 January )

If you are taking the bus/MRT, here's the direction
Stop at 6th stop (No. 93029 Mandarin Gardens). A 6 min walk from the bustop will reach our hostel.
Directions from Mandarin Garden bustop:
1)Cross the road and walk left-wards. you will see a pathway going into East Coast Kerris estate on your right .
2)Turn into it and walk straight till the end of the road at a T-junction call East Coast Ave. Turn left.
3) Walk straight and turn right into East Coast Dr.
4) Walk straight till you reach the main road and we are just opp the Road!
By cab - about $12-$14 to the hostel
Travel By ECP and exit Bedok. Turn Left to Upper East Coast Road. Stop at the busstop after Siglap Centre (It should be on your right side). We are juz opp the road above Georges Madbar
