when coming out from the Hualien train station, go straight ahead onto Guolian 1rd Rd.Continue onto Guólián 3st Road and then turn right on Guolian 5th Rd. (you will see the bulidin named 'GIGAFFE PARK PACHINKO TAROKO')
keep walking on Guolian 5th Rd. and you will see a big temple on your left side.
the Sleepingboot Backpacker hostel is just on your right side diagonally across from the temple.Watch out for the house number 73
