'Old Taiwan (Liouhe) Hostel' offers comfortable and clean accommodations with a designer retro chic flair. The interior design pays homage to old Kaohsiung in south Taiwan. Well appointed, each room has an air-conditioner, antique reproduction furniture, and an en-suite bathroom.
Enjoy the first floor's revolving art exhibition and complimentary desktop computers for guests.
Relax in the third floor's recreational area equipped with DVD home theater, cable TV, kitchen facilities, coffee machine and coffee grinder.

Route A ~ 15 min walk direct from Kaohsiung Train Station
1. Walk across Jian Guo 2nd Rd.and take Zhong Shan 1st Rd.
2. Keep on going straight until you come to Liouhe 2nd Rd. (google maps ? Luihe 2nd Rd).You will see the Formosa Boulevard Station exit 11
3. Make an immediate left turn onto Liouhe 2nd Rd. (Google maps ? Luihe 2nd Rd). This is the site of the Liouhe Tourist night markets after 5pm. It gets very busy after this time.
4. Travel down this road to ZihLi 2nd Rd. (Google maps ?ZiLi 2nd Rd). The Jian-Gou Elementary School is on the right and the Crown Fancy Café is on the left.
5. Turn right and tavel until you reach the main Cisian 2nd Rd. (Google maps ?QiXian 2nd Rd). Across this road is the Taiwan Cooperative Bank
6. Your destination is behind the bank - just make a right turn and you are there! ? ZihLi 1st Rd. 6 Lane (as marked on the street sign but on Google as Lane 6 ZiLiYi Rd.).
Route B ~ transfer to the metro from the train station~
Take the Red metro, line direction - Siaogang, get off at Formosa Boulevard Station (1 stop) and then it is a realitively short walk to the hostel.
Just follow the directions beginning at step 3 in Route A and you're there! |
