Opened January 2010. Easy Access: 7 minutes from MRT YongChun Exit #4; 15 minutes from Airport bus terminal (Taipei City Hall). Can easily get to any TOP tourist attraction by public transportation.

Besides the May Rooms, we have just renovated a place for backpacker 5 minutes from the May Rooms. ï¿½May Spaceï¿½, opened in January, is the latest project for year 2011. Please note that the PRIVATE ROOM (May Rooms) and DORMITORY (May Space) ACCOMMODATIONS ARE IN SEPARATE BUILDINGS DISTINCT FROM THE RECEPTION. The buildings are not far from reception, about 3-5 minutes by foot.

Additionally, for confirmed arrivals past midnight, please make sure that you book your accommodation for the previous calendar day. For example, if you are planning to arrive on Monday at 1:00 AM, reserve a bed for Sunday evening. If you reserve for Monday, this implies that you plan to wait until normal check-in time (2 PM onward) until you will actually occupy your bed.

ï¿½ Taipei 101 Tower Building is a skyscraper looming above the clouds hovering over Taipei City. Taipei 101 Tower Building, formerly the tallest building in the world, was designed by Master Architect C.Y. Lee. The 508-meter skyscraper combines classic oriental culture and local Taiwanese features. Its glass curtain wall with double-glazed heat reduction clear glass observatory allows viewers to enjoy a bird's eye-view of the entire city of Taipei. The express elevator, affirmed as the fastest in the world, takes just 43 seconds to reach the 89th floor. While in the building, visitors can also visit the world-class shopping mall, located at the base of the complex. Like New York's Empire State Building and Paris's Eiffel Tower, Taipei 101 Tower Building attracts numerous visitors to the cosmopolitan city of Taipei.This must-see landmark and shopping mall is only 20 minutes away (easy walking) from May Rooms; it's even faster by bus.

ï¿½ MRT YongChun Station (Exit #4) is only a 7-minute walk from May Rooms. There, you can enjoy shopping and tasting local foods and seasonal fruits at YongChun Market; bananas, mangosteens, pineapple, bell apples (native to Taiwan), etc. can be had only a few American dollars. Yummy!

1. 10% Hostelworld Deposit is Non-Refundable.
2. Late Arrivals of 3 hours or more without notice will count as 'NO-SHOWS'. All deposits are Non-Refundable. You will be charged for 1 night for NO SHOWS and for cancellations made less than 7 days in advance.
3. Full Booking Charge if NO SHOW or cancellation without notice during peak season: July, November to January.

Directions:

Once you arrive at TaoYuan Airport, you have two options for getting to Taipei City.

Adult Fare: $ 145 NT
Option #1: Take Air Bus East Line No. 2060 to the Taipei City Hall bus terminal station. Transfer to the MRT blue line and get off at YongChun station (1 stop). We can pick you up from Exit #5.
Option #2: You can take a Taxi (24-hr. service from the airport), which will cost you between $1300-1400 NT .

Notice: If you choose to take a Taxi, please ask the driver to drop you off at the corner of SongShan Rd., Lane 541.
