Experiencing Bangkok doesn't get any better than this, Lub d (meaning 'sleep well' in Thai) has its original location tucked away in Bangkok's culturally rich district of Silom. There you can take advantage of the convenience of the city's BTS Skytrain (Chong Nonsi Station), which is a 10 minute walk from the hostel. Those willing to explore will also find Lub d surrounded by an eclectic collection of shops, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Check-in, leave your backpack, and set out exploring Bangkok.
Regarded as 'one of the 17 coolest hostels to hangout in the world...' (Guardian UK June 2008), Lub d has been a temporary home to travelers of all backgrounds. Lub d offers both hostel and hotel style rooms to fit your needs (PLEASE NOTE, THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN OUR 4-FLOOR FACILITY). Hostel lovers choose to take advantage of our economical mixed eight-bed or ladies-only dormitories. If you're traveling alone or with a friend and would like more privacy, we offer a railway twin room or double bed room where up to two people can stretch out comfortably.

Lub d dormitory: The 'super clean' 8 beds dormitory that has more good things than what you're looking for.
Lub d Ladies' dormitory: The luxury 6 to 10 beds dormitory in a 'ladies-only' section that offers more space and a large shared bathroom designed for women.
Railway Twin Room: A new concept room type, It's a perfect choice for single traveler or traveler who come with their favorite 'buddy'. This room has a comfortable 1 bunk bed room with shared bathroom that gives privacy you need, together with Lub d's lifestyle.
Lub d Double Room: A queen-size bed room with bathroom en-suite. This is a well-designed room, a real break for those who seek something more than a regular room in a box.
The safety features of the hostel are also among the best in the business with 24hr reception, closed-circuit TV surveillance, and keycard access to rooms and common areas. Each floor of Lub d is equipped with smoke detectors, fire alarms, and fire extinguishers to prevent and respond to emergencies.

PUBLIC TAXI: At Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport, metered taxi can be found at Level 1 near Gate 4 and 7. Fare charged according to the distance traveled plus a airport surcharge of THB 50 for the driver. If you use express way, you will need to pay the fees. Total cost approximately THB 400-500. During rush hours, it might cost more.
AIRPORT RAIL LINK: You need to take City Line to Phayathai Station (terminal station), which is connected to Phayathai Skytrain Station. From there, you will need to take the skytrain to Chong Nonsi Station (25 THB). Don?t forget to change the train at Siam Station - same floor, opposite platform. At Chong Nonsi Station, go out at Exit 3 and keep walking until you meet Silom Road. Turn left at the intersection and walk pass Sofitel to the next intersection (Decho Intersection) with traffic light. Then turn right there, keep walking for about 100 meters, you will find us on the left hand side with yellow chairs in front of the building. City Line?s fare starts from 15 baht up to 45 baht. Total traveling time to Lub d is no more than 1 hour. |
