The Rucksack Hostel Building is beautiful and cosy, with a nice, clean bathroom. The decor is amazing, and it´s prepared to receive friendly/cool travelers, who wish to enjoy, relax and learn about Phuket and Thailand, in a very chilled atmosphere.

Phuket downtown, is the heart of the city.It is the original of Phuket Thai-chinese culture and ways of life.According to the shopkeepers and others local in the area. You will find out how the real phuket people live ,eat, ..etc .Here is also the cetre if bus terminal to all beaches of this paradise island.

From the Phuket International Airport
Option # 1
The most cost effective way is to hop on the Airport bus. Please note
that this bus departs from the departure floor. The fare will be Bht
85.00.
On arrival at the Phuket central bus terminal we are only 10 mins walk
away or alternatively you could opt to jump on local bus # 1 ( green &
yellow colour which will cost you Bht 10.00... Then simply alight at
the Thai Airways central town office ( Tell the bus driver ?(KARN ? BIIN ?
THAI ? NAI ? TA - LARRD -SOT)?( in Thai ) - we are purple building directly
opposite !
OPTION # 2
You could hop for a limousine transfer both shared and private - this is
expensive and in our opinion not worth the price. Furthermore as the
driver is on commission from the shops etc, he will endeavor to sell you products and
services on- route - so be prepared to be seriously hassled ( sometimes very frustratingly so ) ? please be firm but not rude.!
From the Central Bus Terminal.
