The Old Street Hostel is a great place to base yourself as you can explore the delights of our fine city, as many attractions, are only a short walk away from our hostel. We are sure that we have many rooms to suit your budget and needs.
The Hostel is just 3 minutes walk to the Hoan Kiem Lake and Water Puppet Shows, in the front of many Vietnamese and Western Restaurants, besides the ANZ Bank and shopping streets ....
Old Street hostel was designed and built with high architectural standards. It is among the Hanoi Old Quarter's top ten hostels, and has an excellent view of Hanoi.
The 15 rooms have Wifi, Morden air-conditioned and equipped with wood furnitures and wooden floors in classical style, IDD telephones, satellite TV, mini-bar, bathroom with bath-tub and hot water& hair dryers, Wifi in the room and lobby and 6 special rooms with City Views and ADSL Internet in the room ...
We like to think our hotel is friendly and has a family atmosphere. It is quiet, comfortable and very clean.
All rooms include Vietnamese breakfast and/or Western breakfast and ADSL internet access is free 24h for guests staying in the hostel.

Our hostel also has a Travel Agency ( Travel Office ) that can arrange many tours around Hanoi, Hue and to the north of Vietnam, like Ha Long bay, Sa Pa, Transport to the south, and to anywhere around the world. We can also arrange visas to Laos, Cambodia, and can extend your Vietnamese visa if you require. We book trains/air tickets, buses to Laos and a multi-stop open bus from Ha Noi to Hue / Hoi An / Nha Trang/ Da Lat or Mui Ne / Sai Gon, plus Russian Jeep, motorbike, and bicycle rental.
For those of you arriving via Hanoi International Airport we highly recommend organizing an airport pick up. No, it is not free but you will avoid the hassels of being taken to another hotel which will tell you that the hostel is full/closed down/or was knocked down by an act of God.
