The Clifden Town Hostel is a small friendly hostel offering a warm welcome to all of our guests. Clifden Town Hostel is located on Market Street in the centre of Clifden. Clifden scathing the western seaboard of Ireland and bounding the periphery of Europe is a most tempting and welcoming oasis to the seasoned and novice traveller alike.
Clifden Town Hostel itself offers the best in value and comfort under the helpful watch of its staff and management. We have 2 self-catering kitchens and a very comfortable commom room. All of our rooms are bright and airy and some offer you s sea view. There are many cafes, restaurants and bars with traditional music within a 3/4/min walk.
Clifden is the ideal base to explore all Connemara has to offer whether it is Hiking in the numerous mountains,a cycle trip across the Bog Road to Roundstone or a 3/4 hour walk along the Skyroad with its views to Clifden Bay and the many islands located some KM's offshore.You can also visit Inishboffin Island for a day trip or visit the Connemara national Park where you can take the 3 hour hike to the Diamond Hill 550m.

If you are travelling by bus there are 2 companies with services from Galway,Bus Eireann.ie and Citylink.ie,offering 8-10 services a day.We are located 50 meters from the bus stop on Market Street. |
