An St�r is ideally located to explore the South of Ireland. Road, rail and bus links connect Midleton with all the attractions of Cork, Kerry and Waterford. The Jameson Heritage Centre, Cork City, Cobh and Youghal are minutes away. Midleton is well known for it's great restaurants, shops and pubs.
All our comfortable rooms are ensuite and a good night's sleep is guaranteed in this friendly, family-run hostel. A cold breakfast is now included in the hostelworld package.
We can provide single, double, twin, family rooms and dormitories. Free car parking is in our own carpark
You can choose to cook in the self-catering kitchen, or groups can be catered for in our new dining room.
The hostel is within minute�s walk of the main street, buses,train, shops and restaurants. Tourist facilities include golf, horse riding and surfing.(see our Special)
The Jameson Whiskey Centre, Fota House and Wildlife Park, and more, are all a short drive away, or accessible by bus or train.
Cork city is 20k to the west of the town and easily accessible on the N25.
Övrig information om detta VandrarhemAll bedrooms in the hostel are ensuite. Most rooms have double beds. All bedlinen is supplied. Towels are standard in private rooms and available on request. There is one ground-floor room which is wheelchair-accessible and has a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. A spacious lounge has satellite T.V. a kiddy -corner and piano. Meeting rooms are available free of charge to guests.
The guest kitchen is fully equipped. Meals can be provided for groups , by arrangement. Under-age groups may book out the entire hostel.

Take the Midleton train from Cork.If you phone ahead we can arrange to have you collected from the station We are 25 mins. drive from Cork Airport. Buses on the Cork/ Rosslare route stop on Main Street. Half way along the Main Street there is a sign post for An Stór. Travel about 150m and as the street narrows, you will see another sign, pointing left. From this street corner the hostel sign is clearly visible. We can be found on SatNav.
