Rosses Point Guesthouse is a new and modern accommodation option in the heart of the beautifully scenic seaside village of Rosses Point, only 5 miles from Sligo town.
We provide a good value, fun alternative to the existing hotels and B&B's in the area. Our guesthouse has a selection of different sleeping options, from hostel style bunk beds in a dorm, or private double rooms for a romantic get-away. We also have twin room options or options to suit a family visiting Rosses Point. The kitchen and common areas of the guesthouse are our greatest asset - with plenty of space for groups to cook, eat, and socialise. We also have free WiFi and a guest computer to use free of charge.
Rosses Point has a lot to offer visitors with many activities and attractions. Five minutes walk from our guesthouse is Co. Sligo Golf Club which is listed in the top 10 Links courses in Ireland. Down the road another few minutes is Sligo Yacht Club, a world-class facility that teaches sailing courses of all levels throughout the summer and hosts many World and European competitions every year. Rosses Point also has a great Fishing heritage and fishing trips or boat charters are available locally, again within 5 minutes walk from our guesthouse. There are also a few islands off the coast that are great to visit for a picnic or to explore with a short trip with the local boat charter. There is fantastic food and drink to be had in Austies Bar and Restaurant just across the road from the guesthouse. Harryï¿½s bar just a couple of minutes up the road also pours an excellent pint with some good music and great company. Sligo has many great hill walks and bicycle tours to offer with information available at our guesthouse to plan your excursions. The Irish northwest in general has many world famous surf locations with Sligo being positioned in the middle of them as well as having the majority of them along its beautiful coastline. Rosses Point is an ideal central base with loads of great surf spots both to the north and south of the village. The staff in the guesthouse can recommend the best breaks for your ability or surf schools in which to learn. As well as being a fantastic surf location, Sligo and especially Rosses Point have become a popular location for the relatively new sport of Kitesurfing. Kitesurfing lessons for all levels are also available through Rosses Point Guesthouse and the local Kite school LSD Kiteboarding. There is also a local leisure center that has a small gym and swimming pool just 2 minutes from the Guesthouse. In Sligo town itself there are more great things to discover such as art galleries, traditional pubs, great restaurants and great shopping. The nightlife is also a bit busier than Rosses Point with many bars and nightclubs to choose from depending on your tastes while being only a few minutes drive from Rosses Point.

Rosses Point Guesthouse is in the northwest of Ireland, near the town of Sligo. Sligo is the largest town in the northwest and it is about 2.5hrs by car or 3hrs by train from Dublin. It is about 2hrs from Galway and about 3hrs from Belfast.
Rosses Point is situated 8kms outside Sligo town. It is a small scenic seaside village with a lot to offer. Getting from Sligo town to Rosses Point is easy.

By Car: Drive to Sligo town. Pick up the signs for Rosses Point and follow them (the Rosses Point turn off is on the north side of Sligo town on the main road, so when travelling from the north prepare to turn right as you arrive at the town on the N15. When travelling from the West or South on the N4 prepare to turn left just as you exit Sligo town). When you get into Rosses Point, there are two roads running parallel through the village. Take the road on the right, and follow it until you come to Hackett's bar - an old derelict pub and guesthouse. Don't worry, that's not where you are staying! You can park outside Hacketts and continue walking (20 meters) up the road to Austies Bar and Restaurant. Rosses Point Guesthouse is directly opposite Austies on the right hand side and has the name in big black letters above the front door. Once at the front door just come on in and staff will meet you inside. If the door is not open please give us a call on +353863512762, we will be only 2 minutes away.

By Bus: The bus for Rosses Point leaves the Sligo bus and train station. You can also get on the bus across the road from the Ulster Bank in Sligo town. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Austies Bar in Rosses Point Village, and from there you will see Rosses Point Guesthouse just opposite (the bus will stop just outside our door so just ask the driver). By Taxi: Taxis are readily available from the Train and Bus station and cost about ?15 from Sligo town to Rosses Point Guesthouse.

By Train: The Sligo train service is linked to Connolly Station Dublin. Upon arrival at Sligo Train and Bus station, a Bus or Taxi will get you out to Rosses Point Guesthouse.
