Welcome to Doug's Mountain Getaway
We are located in Fulpmes which is a 10-15 minute drive from Innsbruck.
The Chalet has not only a cinema, hot tub, chill-out lounge, sauna, table-tennis, foosball and poker rooms, but being at the base of a fantastic Austrian ski resort, we are perfectly placed to enjoy a huge range of other activities!
We believe in value for money. That's why we offer so many completely free facilities in our chalets, like the:

There's a fireplace in the living room too, and the huge comfy sofa has been known to suck people in for the night rather than making it back to their beds!
It's cheap (starting from just 28 EUR per person per night!)

Att ta sig till Doug's Mountain Getaway VandrarhemFrom Innsbruck train station, either get the bus (ST) which goes every half hour, or the scenic tram (STB : Fulpmes) direct to Fulpmes. The tram goes just once an hour (13 minutes to the hour) & takes longer but is a beautiful ride!
Bus: Get off @ Bruecke (bridge) stop immediately after turning to enter Fulpmes. Turn right at the Shell petrol station... walk 100m (it's the 3rd house on the right after M-Preis supermarket (currently a building site!!!). Address: #12 Muhlwiese St.
Or by tram: From the centre of Fulpmes, walk down the hill - you'll soon get on the busiest road. Follow this down and round until you see the Shell garage - this time you'll turn left (so you pass it on your right), then follow as above.
If you ever get lost, just ask for Shell Tankstelle (Shell garage) or M-Preis (pronounced M-Price) - although the latter is currently a building site!
FLIGHTS:
You'll often get £50 return flights from London Stansted to (Munich) Memmingen or Salzburg (both 1hr 45 mins away, Ryanair), and easyjet do great £23.99 singles in the winter if you're lucky (Innsbruck - 15 mins).
TRAIN:
Innsbruck has great direct connections with its 8 neighbouring countries. Try db.de or oebb.at for international train connections, times and prices. They do good deals too with long trains - overnighters to Berlin for example for £40... |
