The Beechwood Guest House would like to invite you to enjoy a comfortable stay with us during your visit to Scotland. We are Close to Prestwick International Airport (about 2.5 km) situated along the same Road.
The Beechwood can offer you quality ensuite 3 star+ accommodation at sensible and affordable prices. All rooms are freshly decorated, have TV, coffee and tea facilities and ensuite. All have flat screen TVs and DVD players and somehave trouser press. All have digital TV including children's channels and sky News.
What's Included!
Included in the price you can enjoy a continental breakfast of fruit, cereal, yoghurts, toast, tea coffee or hot chocolate. Cooked breakfasts are also available for a small additional charge of 3.50 pounds sterling per adult and 2.00 pounds sterling per child.
Early departures and late check ins!
We can arrange early breakfasts for early departures and late check ins for late arrivals (please let us know when booking).
Golf Bookings!
The Beechwood is surrounded by many golf courses, making us a golfer's haven. Golf holidays arranged including tee off times Itineraries and transport. Let us know your requirements when booking.

We are in walking distance to the award winning town centre of Ayr, which boast many shops, bars and restaurants. You can also easily reach Ayr and Prestwick beaches and enjoy the beautiful view of the Island of Arran.
Getting here from the Prestwick Airport!
Trains: From the Airport terminal to Newton-on-Ayr run at 15 minutes past each hour (last train 0015). Newton-on-Ayr is the second stop (takes only 5 minute). You buy your ticket on the train. When you come out at Newton-on-Ayr Station walk up to the top of the road turn left and we are just a block away on the left hand side. This service does not operate on a Sunday.
Buses: From the airport terminal at 2244 and 2344 (Sunday: 2246 and 2346). You get off at the stop after you pass the Shell petrol station/garage. At this stop we are just across the road, looking diagonally up to the right. This is the most economic option, if there are fewer travellers. For Parties of two or more it would be just as economical to get a taxi.
Taxis: wait outside the airport. The fare to us will be around 6-7.00 pounds sterling. Regular taxis seat up to 5 occupants at this price. 7 seaters are available at a little extra cost.
By Car: Come out of the airport and go through the town of Prestwick on the A79. Keep going until you pass a Shell Petrol station on the left hand side, we are just after this on the right hand side.

Att ta sig till The Beechwood Guest House GuesthouseTo get to us from the airport, follow these instructions - On exiting the airport, turn left towards the town of Prestwick. After 400 yards, you will reach a large roundabout at which you take the third exit into the town of Prestwick. This is the A79. This road changes name several times. Continue on this road for approximately 2 kilometres. You will pass one petrol stations on your left hand side. This is a Shell Garage, after passing this garage The Beechwood Guest House is on your right hand side approximately 200 yards after. |
