Built in 1860, this detached Victorian house was once an elegant family home and is situated in the heart of Scotland's capital. A mere 5 minutes from both the city centre and Leith Docks (where there are a host of cosy restaurants and wine bars to relax in) we make the perfect location for the tourist and the business traveller. Why not take the opportunity to visit the former Royal Yacht Britannia, who rests in the docks only five minutes away.

The Park View affords an excellent base for those enjoying a more leisurely break, located on a main bus route, we benefit from easy access to all of Edinburgh's major attractions. Visit the Palace of Holyrood, the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Malt Whisky Heritage Centre, Edinburgh Castle, or perhaps enjoy a spot of shopping on Princes Street or the Royal Mile.

The Park View boasts eleven spacious bedrooms. Naturally all are en-suite, some affording fantastic views over the Leith Links, and a championship golf course back in the 15th Century. All are comfortably furnished to a high standard, with TV, telephone and hospitality tray. The hotel is centrally heated throughout.

Your room key will also unlock our front door giving you unrestricted access, whatever time you return.

Ample free car parking is available in our private car park to the rear of the hotel.

Cancellation Policy
Once a booking has been made and security such as a credit card number or
deposit has been given to reserve the room, then it means that we have a
'confirmed reservation'.

Should you wish to cancel this confirmed reservation for whatever reason,
we then reserve the right to charge you for the full amount of the stay,
unless 7 days notice is given prior to the morning of the arrival date and
for reservations during high season - such as Christmas, New Year, Easter,
bank Holidays, Rugby International or World Cup, Festival, Fringe or Tattoo,
then we shall require 21 full days notice from the morning of the arrival
date.

From City Centre:

Heading East along Princes Street take the left turning onto Leith Street (opposite The Balmoral). Bear straight ahead until you come to the end of Leith Walk. At the traffic lights take the turning to the right taking you on to Duke Street. Keep going straight ahead until you approach a mini round-about. Take the first turning to the left bringing you on to Hermitage Place. Park View is the first Hotel on your Right Hand Side.

From Barnton Roundabout (Queensferry Road):

Bear straight ahead along Queensferry Road following the directions for Leith. This will bring you to the Crewe Toll Round-about. Continue to follow the signs for Leith bringing you on to Ferry Road.

At the end of Ferry Road take the right turning onto Great Junction Street. Keep going straight ahead until until you approach a mini round-about. Take the first turning to the left bringing you on to Hermitage Place. Park View is the first Hotel on your Right Hand Side.
