Guesthouse Barony House, Edinburgh, Skottland
Barony House is situated a mile from Edinburgh city centre on an excellent bus route on the A701, making getting round the city to see all its attractions very easy.
Set in a beautiful Victorian house, all of our en-suite rooms feature high ceilings with original cornicing and have been comfortably furnished. Complimentary tipples are left in the room by your hosts, to help you get in a holiday mood.
We have one car parking space which MUST be reserved at the time of booking, but if this should be unavailable there is ample free on-street parking just two minutes away.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at Barony House no one leaves our tables hungry. Ordering your breakfast choice the night before insures that it is available and ready for you when you come down in the morning. We cater for all dietary requirements - just let us know what you like when you book.
We are more than happy to help you plan your time in Edinburgh, and we can book taxis, bus trips, restaurant reservations and tickets for shows during your stay.
Wifi internet available with a computer for guests' use.

Exit from Waverley Station by road entrance turning right up on to Princes Street if you have come by train. You exit on Waverly Bridge if you have come by bus. Cross over to the shops side on Princes Street for buses travelling East. Wait at a bus stop for buses numbered 3, 29, 31 or 49. Bus will immediately turn right on to North Bridge. Travel along the main route until shops finish and Hotels/Guest Houses commence. Look out for The Minto Hotel allow the bus to go through one set of traffic lights ring the bell, when the bus stops, exit on Mayfield Gardens. We are on the other side of the road. Bus journeys should take around 10 minutes. Cost £1.10 no change given. |
