The Drumorne Guest House is central located in-between the old and new town of Edinburgh. Its just 1.5 miles from Princes Street on a well-served bus route and a twenty minutes walk to the Royal Mile through Holyrood Park. This Victorian styled guest house is a clean, comfortable and affordable establishment.
Guest can choose from single, twin, double or family rooms. Each room is fully en-suite and has all standard facilities include central heating, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms. Telephone, fax and Ironing service are also available on request.
At the Drumorne breakfast is served from 8am to 9am. Guests enjoy a fully complimentary traditional Scottish breakfast, or can choose between porridge or a full continental breakfast including pastries, breads and cheeses.
The Drumorne is one of the best locations for the city centre, train and bus stations and for discovering all tourist attractions including Holyrood Palace, The New Scottish Parliament, Dynamic Earth centre, Holyrood Park and Royal Mile leading to the castle.
Continental breakfast is included in the price and a full English breakfast is available at an extra cost of £2.50.

Travelling from the Airport to city centre is well served by bus and taxi. The bus to city centre takes 30-40 minutes, and drops visitors off on Princes Street. Guests can take the number 44 bus from Mark?s and Spencer?s on Princes Street to Willowbrae Road a journey of 6-10 minutes. The Drunmorne is on the right. Alternatively a taxi from airport will cost you £15-£20.
Driving Directions:
Drumorne Guest House is located at east of the city centre of Edinburgh, at the start of A1 root from the Capital. Travelling from the Princes Street take the London road and turn right on to Willowbrae Road, the Dunmorne is on the right.
We are close to Holyrood Park, Holyrood Palace, Meadowbank Stadium and with easy access to Leith Docks and Britannia Royal Yacht. |
