The Schoolhouse Homestay is a gorgeous spacious townhouse near Denia & Pego, situated half way between Valencia and Alicante in a small charming Spanish village.
All rooms are en suite and come with either a balcony or terrace.
Guests can relax in the cosy lounge area- complete with real log fire and enjoy browsing through our range of books and DVDs or perhaps even enjoy a board game or two! In addition to the living area guests can also enjoy use of the kitchen facilities.
We run The Schoolhouse Homestay offering a choice of just pure relaxation, help with property hunting, language courses or local activities. Much more comfortable than a noisy hotel room and more welcoming than an empty villa
We, your hosts (aged in our late thirties/early forties), know the area and speak the language as well as being on hand to help you with anything you may need. If you prefer you can book the whole house for a minimum of three nights at a discounted rate.
Anything else you may need during your stay (cots, high chairs etc) all you need do is ask.
The house is within walking distance of a range of amenities including three Spanish bars offering great inexpensive Spanish food, an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic area, children's playground, a bakery, a small supermarket, a butchers, pharmacy and we have free wifi throughout. The property is surrounded by the valley and mountains yet still close to the beach and a shopping mall. We are the perfect base for a walking or climbing break or even just as somewhere to chill out. Buses serve the area that go to Denia, the beach as well as links further up the coast or inland- we can also assist you with car rental if you prefer.
The Schoolhouse Homestay is just an hour from either Valencia or Alicante airports. Whether travelling on your own, in a couple, family or just with a group of friends we are the perfect choice for something different for a long weekend, week or more!
Breakfast is not included, although there will be tea and coffee available, there is a bakery nearby and three cafes within a 2 min walk. There is also a small shop and butchers in the village and the main supermarket is nearby. Guests have full use of the kitchen, washing machine etc.

Att ta sig till The Schoolhouse Homestay GuesthouseBy car : Take the AP7 motorway from Valencia or Alicante, exit 62 for Denia/Ondara/Xabia towards Beniarbeig. At the bridge turn left for 6km until you reach the village Rafol de Almunia.
By train / bus : To Denia / Gata and then the village bus or we can pick you up. |
