Aterpetxea Gernika is in the town of Gernika (Bizkaia) within Urdaibai Reserve. Because of its location in the territory of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country for its natural environment, its history, for good communication with the three Basque provinces of which is surrounded, makes it a privileged place.
Gernika Aterpetxea, belongs to the Network ELKARTEA Suspergintza lodges recognized by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and Hostel and permanent installation of stay for children and youth groups as the International Hostel. Specializing in socio-educational school programs with extensive experience of over twenty years, both proprietary and contracted.
From all of us depends to a large extent in the future model of accommodation does not disappear, so thought that when you finish your stay, there are plenty of people behind who want to like all of us enjoy them.
Aterpetxea GERNIKA has a maximum capacity of 40 seats. And is equipped and adapted to disabled. Our rooms have a capacity for of 4,6,8 and 10 people, we have tv room, wifi, laundry and it is posible to have lunch and have dinner for more than 15 people.
The exterior of the facility include a wide pedestrian plaza, municipal sports center, equipped with heated swimming pools, football fields, the center of town and only 500 meters, handball and numerous hiking routes green.
We have also a big terrace and the baths are separate from the rooms,we are 5' by public transport from the beach, we are in the middle of 4 beaches, and 20 km from bilbao, 5' on foot we have swimming pool
It is possible to make multi adventure sports,kayak, surf...
