Five minutes from the Cathedral, El Granado Hostel is located right in the center of Granada, within walking distance of all that Granada has to offer.
El Granado is a quiet hostel and has the history of Granada within the walls of this unique and recently renovated property from the Nasrid period (13th -15th century).
Staying in this charming house, in the heart of Granada, definitely makes for a different and unique experience. Contact the hostal for extra special activities; Nature bike tours along the river, horse back riding in the mountains, kayaking or river rafting. It is the perfect choice for a family, a group of friends, couples or ?backpackers? who are looking for daytime fun and not a party hostel.

The different types of accommodation offered:
Doubleroom:
We also offer rooms for two persons with a double bed and private bathroom. Sheets and towels included.
Shared Dorm / Bunkbeds:
Most economical option. The rooms are shared, backpacker style. In each dorm there are between 3 and 6 beds and individual lockers for your bag. Bathroom and showers are shared with fellow travellers. We have a common rooftop terrass and a common patio and living room with cooking facilities.

How to get here:
By Car:
We advise travelers coming by car to enter Granada on highway exit 128 ?Mendez Nuñez?, and drive towards the city centre, passing ?Plaza Albert Einstein? and Hotel Granada Center on your right hand side.
When the road makes a Y, turn right into ?Rector Lopez Argüeta? street until it ends and then turn right on ?Gran Capitan? street. 200 meters down this road after passing the Monastery of San Jerónimo you will find the ?Gran Capitán? underground public parking.
When you've parked the car walk straight and take the second street to the left, 'Conde de Tendillas? street.
By Bus:
From the main bus station you need to take city bus number 3 or 33 and get of at the bus stop ?los Jardines del Triunfo? (when you see a round about with a big spanish flag in the center, get off the bus). After getting of the bus backtrack a little and walk down on ?San Juan de Dios? street until you see Monastery of ?San Jerónimo?(it has a lot of orangetrees infront of it) on your right hand side. Turn left on ?Duquesa? street. Second street to the right is ?Conde de Tendillas? street and El Granado.
By Train:
Take city bus number 5 to the centre and get of at bus stop ?Gran Capitan (Ambulatorio)?. Walk into ?Duquesa? street and the second street to the right is ?Conde de Tendillas? and El Granado.
IMOPRTANT: while lasting the construction of Granada Metro it is better to walk, it takes about 15-20min (see map on our homesite). Bus 5 takes a different route.
By Plane:
Take the airport bus to the centre and get of at ?los Jardines del Triunfo?, and follow the instructions above, how to get here by bus.
Taxis: (Taxi fees are estimated since the traffic may vary. The taxametre is reliable)
