The Hostal of Albergue is a hostel in León-Nicaragua offering a tranquil and genuine Nicaraguense environment. Really, really great hostel! It is the only backpacker place with a complete Nica staff & Nicaraguan ownership that I have found in León. They have all the services that foreigners expect, and in addition all the local knowledge about culture, politics, etc. that most other places cannot provide. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and very interested in conversing about both Nicaraguan realities and eager to learn about the rest of the world. I'm really glad I stayed at the Albergue! Fron our guest....

Taxi: From the bus terminal expect to pay 12 - 15 Cordobas per person. If the driver doesn't know the hostel, ask to be dropped off at Gasolinera Petronic (20 mtrs east of the hostel).
Bus: From the busstation, take any bus that goes to Sutiava (3 Cordobas) and ask to be dropped off at Gasolinera Petronic (20 mtrs east of the hostel).
Walking: Walk 3 blocks towards Pali supermarket and turn left. Walk 3 blocks until you reach San Juan church. Keep the church on your right and take the first street to your left continuing south for one block more to Gasolinera Petronic and make a right. Find the hostel on your right. |
