Catering to budget travelers of all ages, this hostel is open 24 hours/365 days and is centrally located in the heart of modern downtown Managua.
The surroundings are very clean and secure allowing guests to explore at any time taking normal safety precautions. We are just a short walk, bus or taxi ride from all major national sights, markets, and transportation terminals.
In less than 10 minutes you can walk to the MetroCentro Shopping center, cinemas, parks, casinos, supermarkets, Zona Hippos, and over 50 restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.
Across two spacious properties, located within a few minutes walk of one another, we offer both private and dormitory accommodations, a shared fully equipped kitchen (at main property), large swimming pool (at main property only), free wireless internet, air conditioning, security lockers (bring a lock), laundry service, 24/7 airport shuttle service, Breakfast Cafe (at the second property) and much much more. Guests may choose to stay at our second property which offers a quieter setting where they can relax and enjoy their stay.

Att ta sig till Managua Backpackers Inn VandrarhemAll guests are checked-in at the main property located just off of Carretera Masaya, 1 block south of the MetroCentro Shopping Center. From the old location of the Bar 'Chaman', we are half a block south.
Managua does not have a central bus terminal, but the hostel is close to all major transportation points. UCA is a popular disembarkation point especially for travelers coming from Granada, which is only 5 ? 10 minutes by taxi from the hostel ($1 US per person or 22 Cordobas) or 20 minutes walking. You can either ask the driver to let you off directly at the hostel or get off in front of the MetroCentro Shopping Center and Hotel Intercontinental and from there it is only a 5 minute walk to get here.
The TICA bus station is about 15 minutes by taxi from the hostel ($2 US per person or 44 Cordobas).
As a rule most locations within Managua cost $1 or 22 Cordobas per person in a taxi to get to unless they are very far. |
