Amigos is a small, beautiful, peaceful guesthouse in the heart of Byron Bay, just 7 minutes walk from one of the world's most beautiful beaches and Byron's activities and venues.
Amigos means 'friends'. Here you can enjoy the sunshine, the sea, the rainforest and the warmth of a friendly house. You'll find a relaxed beach house atmosphere with a lively Latin influence. A place to meet other travellers as well as friendly Aussies.
The house has a big comfortable living room filled with books, magazines, games and music for your enjoyment. It opens to a sunny deck and garden ... where you can laze in a hammock under the shade of the pergola. We're quiet here after 10 pm and there's no TV.
Amigos has the most comfortable beds you'll ever find on your travels, in double, single or twin rooms (no dorms) Crisp white sheets and big soft towels. There's also good coffee, gourmet teas, and fresh oranges for you to juice, all free. And bicycles, with a small contribution for maintenance.
We can help you arrange a massage, or find a nice restaurant. Do a surf or dive course, visit the rainforest, go sea kayaking to see dolphins and whales, climb a mountain, go to a craft market ... whatever you want to make your holiday relaxing and fun.
Amigos offers an optional $5 help-yourself breakfast, or you can try any of the many cafes nearby - 2 to 10 minutes walk. The kitchen at Amigos is available for you to use occasionally.
At Amigos, you're invited to feel at home, to be yourself, to relax and enjoy everything this beautiful region has to offer.
Our cancellation conditions:
If you cancel less than 2 weeks before arrival, we charge 1 night or 25% (4 weeks in December and January). If we can relet your room, we'll refund whatever we get, minus $50 rebooking fee.
Deposit for December and January:
For December and January bookings, we charge 25% deposit to your card when you book. If you don't want to pay 25% deposit, please don't book at Amigos during December and January.

No show:
If you don't arrive, and don't advise us before your arrival day, the whole booking will be charged to your card, no refunds.
Att ta sig till Amigos Guesthouse GuesthouseCoach and train stop right in town, 5 minutes walk from Amigos. We can often pick you up if you email or phone your arrival details, but not always, sorry.
Walk south from bus station, past Woolworths and cinema, turn left at Kingsley Street. Walk 1 block, turn right and cross over - you're at Amigos driveway on Tennyson Street.
For air travel, Ballina-Byron 35 min, Gold Coast 45 min are the nearest airports with shuttle services to Byron Bay. Shuttles and coaches also from Brisbane, 2 hours. Email us for help with transfers. |
