When driving from Darwin, turn left off the Stuart Highway onto the Arnhem Highway and continue along for a few hundred kilometres.
Turn right onto the Kakadu Highway, and follow this road for 54kms, until you reach the turnoff to Cooinda on the right hand side of the road. Follow this road straight to the end, where Gagudju Lodge Cooinda is located.
Access from Katherine is also approximately 3 hours travelling time. Turn right off the Stuart Highway onto the Kakadu Highway, and then left onto the Cooinda turnoff once inside Kakadu National Park. Follow this road straight to the end, where Gagudju Lodge Cooinda is located.
Public transport to Gagudju Lodge Cooinda is also available by bus.
Gagudju Lodge Cooinda also has an airstrip, which private planes may access by prior arrangement. |
