The Kangaroo Island YHA overlooks beautiful Hog Bay in the town of Penneshaw. The YHA hostel has a lawned garden with sea views, on-site laundry, light airy rooms, friendly local staff and is a two minute walk from the ferry. Penguins are often seen in the garden. Ray and Maureen have fantastic bikes available for hire so you can explore the
town of penneshaw and beyond.
Tours to Seal Bay, Flinders Chase, Little Sahara Sand Dunes, beaches and wildlife park. Good diving spots nearby.
Local wildlife such as wallabies come into the town around dusk, and penguins colonies are located very close to the hostel.
