Set in tropical surroundings with our own wildlife, this activity based hostel has a great atmosphere. We cater for every person needs. We have a swimming Pool and a great BBQ area. Close to the main shopping centre, beaches and on the Maroochydore River. There are courtesy buses to Australia Zoo and Underwater world. Other adventure actives include surfing with boards for hire, free kayaks, free boogie boards, and bikes for hire. Also, free breakfast is included with every overnight stay.

Maroochydore YHA is at the heart of the Sunshine Coast the beaches are awesome offering everything from surfing to basking in the sun, lush sub-tropical rainforests and the spectacular 'Glass House Mountains' and the magnificent Maroochy River for those aquatic-minded people.
We are the closest hostel to Australia Zoo there is a daily FREE courtesy bus to Australia Zoo.

New to Maroochydore'
Dive HMAS Brisbane, the best wreck diving in Qld, and go whale watching from June to November on the Sunshine Coast.
Other activities include surfing, kayaking, kiteboaring, wakeboarding, jetskiing, and the cheapest tandem skydive at 12,000 ft starting from 200 dollars, to name just a few.
The nightlife here is the best on the Sunshine Coast.
Att ta sig till Maroochydore YHA Backpackers VandrarhemThere are three bus companies that transport travellers from Brisbane City or airport - Premier, Greyhound and Suncoast Pacific. This takes approximately one and a half hours. The hostel's courtesy bus will pick you up from the local bus station, Grehound, and Premier stops when you call on arrival.
The train will also bring people from Brisbane City to Landsborough station, which takes approximately two and a half hours. A local bus will take you to Sunshine Plaza where we will pick you up.
From Noosa you can also come to Maroochydore on either a major bus like McCaffertys or the local Sunbus No. 620 (which lets you off around the corner from the hostel at the bus stop Chamber's Island). |
