Travellers Trax is located at The Barley Corn Hotel.
We are on the top of the city a 15 min tram ride from the CBD and a short 2 min walk from bustling Smith and Brunswick street, a must visit for anyone staying this side of the city.
Smith and Brunswick St are made up of some of the best clubs and night life that Melbourne has to offer, and through the day you will find the best bargains at the many thrift and second hand shops.
For a more cultured taste Smith street is home to a famous collection of art galleries and more coffee shops than you could poke a biscuit at.
Travellers Trax has only just acquired the accommodation at the Barley Corn and after a month of extensive renovations and a complete new fit out we have opened the doors to you.

Entertainment: Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays The Barley Corn Hotel down stairs is open on the weekends and hosts some of Melbourne�s best live entertainment, Entry is always free for guests staying with us.
Rooms vary from 6 person dorm rooms to private twin and double rooms.
We are also very accommodating so if you have any special requests please do not hesitate in letting us know.
It is also important to retain the contact phone number from your hostel world booking receipt to call us upon arrival so that we can let you in to the building.
We have an entrance on the street side of the building, security is always a priority for us to ensure that our guests feel comfortable in there stay here with us so as such every guest is given security keys for the main entrance. (it can be a little tricky to be noticed outside as the entrance is at the bottom of the stairs, so make sure you write down the number and you can call it any time 24/7 as we have a live in care taker on site :) )

The best option is to choose the SkyBus.
It operates 24/7 and brings you into the major Bus and Train terminal in the city, Southern Cross Station.
From there you can either get the train towards Epping, and get off at Victoria Park, turning right out of the station and crossing Hoddle Street, about 100m walking distance.
Alternatively there is a bus service from the corner of King and Lonsdale Streets, where any of the 305, or 905-908 services, will take you to the corner of Johnston and Hoddle. |
