The Pint on Punt offers comfortable, clean and safe accommodation at an affordable price. This hostel holds a great atmosphere full of fun for those wanting to meet new people.
The staff are a mixed group of friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people. Each have a diverse background and unique interests but have one very important thing in common-they also love the world of travel! They are happy to help with all enquiries and enjoy a good chat in the bar downstairs.
The Pint on Punt is perfectly located to all the happenings of St Kilda including the beach, bars, clubs, cafes, movies, gyms, Chapel Street's boutique stores, Albert Park Lake and the Grand prix circuit. The city centre and major sporting arenas are only a short tram ride away which also conveniently bypasses the beautiful botanical gardens. If you're new to Melbourne or need to get some general things organised we have a large range of banks, supermarkets as well as the local post office close by.

We do provide a 24 hour check in service depending on availability. Reception is open from 8.15am-12pm daily. From 12pm we operate from the bar downstairs. For check ins between 11pm and 8.15am please contact us so we can organise an after-hours check in.

Before you arrive in Melbourne contact our friends at Airport Bus Dandenong to arrange a pick up from the airport. This must be booked at least 24 hours in advance, but they kindly drop you off at our doorstep for the cheapest price in Melbourne-$15! They can also pick you up from across the road to take you to the airport.

From Southern Cross Station:
Catch tram 96 ($4) going to 'St Kilda Beach' and get off at St Kilda Station at Fitzroy St. Walk up to the end of Fitzroy St towards St Kilda Junction, cross over at the traffic lights and turn left. Walk 200 metres, we are on the right hand side across from the 7-Eleven and St Kilda Junction. If you are lost, just phone our freecall number and a staff member will be able to help you.
From the city centre:
Catch the 3, 5, 16, 64 or 67 ($4) tram heading out of the city and get off at St Kilda Junction. Walk up the ramp and you'll see us just across the road from the traffic lights |
