A valid passport or drivers licence and a refundable $20 CASH Key Deposit is required for all guests to be paid to reception on arrival.
Att ta sig till Base St Kilda VandrarhemFrom Melbourne?s International Airport:
Arriving to Base St Kilda from Melbourne?s international Airport is really easy. We have a deal with a bus company that will drop you off directly to our door for just $18 per person or $30 for 2!
The bus is called the Frankston & Peninsular Shuttle Service. The bus departs from the International Terminal Look for a green & white Minibus outside the International Terminal. The bus runs as regular intervals from 6:15am to 19:00 Monday to Friday and 7:05 and 19:00 on Saturday and Sundays.
If you are arriving outside these times then I would suggest catching the Sky Bus. This bus runs 24 hours a day and will drop you off at Southern Cross Station.
From Southern Cross Station
Catch the number 96 St Kilda Beach Tram. The journey will take about 15 minutes. You then need to get off at Luna park/Macdonalds stop and walk away from the direction of the beach down Carlisle Street. After a minute you will see base (big red glass building) on your right side.
If you arrive outside of tram operation (approx 12.30 - 5.30am) then catch a taxi, it will cost you around $15.
A taxi from Melbourne airport costs about $55-60.
From Avalon Airport
Catch the Sunbus (there is one bus that meets every flight). The cost is $16. The bus will drop you off at Southern Cross Station. Follow directions as above from the Station.
