With 6km of beaches only 400m away, we have breaks to suit all levels of surfers ? lessons available, or try Shark Island, Voodoo or Cronulla Point for experienced surfers!
Catch a ferry over to the Royal National Park and discover Aboriginal carvings, secluded beaches and waterfalls; and for bushwalkers hike either the 26km coastal walk, optionally staying at Garie Beach YHA midway.
Learn to dive at Sydney\'s best diving spots. Kayak the Port Hacking river, and access the national park. At night walk to restaurants, pubs and night-clubs.

Att ta sig till Cronulla Beach YHA VandrarhemCronulla is the southernmost beach suburb of Sydney, bordering the Royal National Park. We?re located approx 35km south of the city centre.
If arriving by car we are at the eastern end of the Sutherland Shire peninsula: from the city, its south on Highway 1 veering onto 64, continuing over the Captain Cook bridge and then follow signs to Cronulla.
From the South Coast heading north, once past the Royal National Park on Princes Highway 1 turn right onto President Avenue, and then follow down to Caringbah; both feed onto the Kingsway, and we?re almost the first business on the right as you enter Cronulla.
By train we?re about 50 mins away ? from the city CBD take the Illawarra (blue) line train from Central (platform 24/25), Town Hall or Kings Cross to Cronulla station. From the airport it is also about 50 mins, catch the train to Wolli Creek station then change to the Illawarra line.
When exiting Cronulla Station cross the road, then turn left and walk along the main shopping street (Cronulla Street). This turns into a pedestrianized plaza, walk to the end and you?ll reach the Kingsway main road. Turn left and we?re ~100 metres on the left. Walk past the police station until opposite the ?7-Eleven? ? we are above the Mexican restaurant ?El Sol.? |
