Owners and sisters Effie & Sasha (avid travellers themselves) manage the hostel, creating a fun & friendly atmosphere. They?ll look after you and let you know the best things to do and see in Sydney. We are located around the corner from Sydney's best nightlife yet far enough to have a good night's sleep. Walking distance to the City Center, Opera House and a train ride away from Bondi Beach.
We offer 4- 6- and 10 bed dorms, some with en-suite bathrooms. Rooms are bright with natural light and have good size lockers and fans.
We have a big sunny courtyard where you can chill out, and socialise with fellow travellers. Our lounge has a big plasma TV, a Wii and DVD?s. Our computers with free fast internet and Wi-Fi can save you real money.

We require 48 hours notice from the commencement date of the booking for any changes or cancellations.
For Groups (4 or more people) we require 7 days notice from the commencement date of the booking.
After this time you will be charged for all nights booked. Cancellations must be made by e-mail only.
Full payment is due upon check-in. We can?t provide a refund if you decide to check out early.
We accept credit cards, Visa or Mastercard for payments of $300 or more. If your balance is less than $300 you?ll have to pay in cash.
A valid passport is required on check-in. We only accept travellers 18 to 35 years old
Att ta sig till Blue Parrot VandrarhemFrom Sydney International Airport:
Go to the 'Blue Wall Meeting Point' inside the arrival hall which is next to gate B, to meet the 'Sydney Shuttle Bus' crew; it departs frequently, or ring them on 9661 1170 to pick you up. Tell the driver to drop you off at the Blue Parrot Backpackers. Fare is $12.00; the journey will take between 40 and 50 minutes depending on traffic.
Get a taxi (if you arrive after 9pm when the shuttle bus stops running) which cost $35 - $40 depending on traffic. The journey will take 30 - 40 minutes.
From Domestic Airport:
You will find the 'Sydney Shuttle Bus' crew at number 5 baggage causeway inside the arrival hall.
From Sydney Central Railway Station:
Catch the train from platform 24 to Kings Cross station. Take the Darlinghurst Road exit, turn left until you come to the hostel, about 5 minutes walk, you will see the blue building on your left. |
