At the Funk House all our doubles and twins have TVs, fridges & duvets and all rooms have lockers and fans to beat that summer heat. With its large common areas, Cable TV and a chilled rooftop terrace area with our famous weekly BBQ's you can relax & sink a couple of beers while watching the sunset over City. There is fully equipped kitchen for you to use and laundry facilities too.

The Funk House is just 200m from the train/metro and bus station giving you easy access to Sydney's best beaches including Bondi Beach and Manly Beach (where the first World Surfing Championships were held). If you are up the challenge 'learn to surf' or if not just kick back & work on the tan!
Kings Cross has everything to offer in terms of entertainment. This means that all the best bars, clubs and restaurants are right on your doorstep! Övrig information om detta VandrarhemOn arrival, you are required to pay for the total nights you have booked. We accept payments by cash, credit card, eftpos or Australian dollar travellers cheques.
If you need to cancel your booking a minimum of 48 hours notice is required, otherwise you will be charged for the nights you have booked.
Please be aware that special conditions apply over the Christmas and New Years Period - Please check on our website for more information.
There cannot be any check ins or check outs on Christmas day (25th Dec) or New Years day (1st Jan).

Please call us when you arrive at Sydney airport. If you are staying for 1 week+ the pick up is free, 3-6 nights the cost to you is $3 per person (the bus company charges $12, we pay the remaining $9) or less than 3 days is $12 per person.
The Shuttle Bus operates between 5am and 8.30pm. If you arrive before the reception opens you can call the shuttle company direct on (02) 9661 1170 and arrange a pick up with them. If you arrive after 8.30pm you will need to arrange your own transport. There are some airport shuttle buses operating until 12am, they charge $12 per person.
Our office hours are 7am to 10pm (Mon-Sat) and 8am-8pm (Sun), if you need to check-in outside these times please call when you arrive - we have a night manager on over night who will check you in.

From Central Station take the train (platform 24) to KINGS CROSS (only 7mins). Turn left out of the train station, and walk along Darlinghurst road. We are 200 metres up on the left hand side. |
